Police are appealing for assistance from the public to trace the next of kin of a man who died in Hale Barns.
GMP Trafford said Charles Anthony Lowndes died at an address on Chapel Lane on April 1 of this year.
Appealing for information about Mr Lowndes in a post on social media on Wednesday (April 24) they said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
In UK law, there is no definition of next of kin, but it is understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.
Anyone with information about the next of kin of Mr Lowndes can contact the Police Coroner's Office in Stockport on 0161 856 9696.
