Police are appealing for assistance from the public to trace the next of kin of a man who died in Sale.
GMP Trafford said Barrie Myers died at an address on Cypress Walk on April 25 of this year.
Appealing for information about Mr Myers in a post on social media this week they said there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 80-year-old.
In UK law, there is no definition of next of kin, but it is understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.
Anyone with information about the next of kin of Mr Myers can contact the Police Coroner's Office in Stockport on 0161 856 9681.
