The Altrincham tram line has reopened with services operating as normal following an issue with the overhead lines.
According to the Bee Network, ticket acceptance remains in place on the 245, 255, 256, 263, 281 and 285 bus services and on Northern Rail services between Altrincham and the city centre until 8pm.
Those wishing to board an alternative service have been advised to show the driver their Metrolink ticket or pass when boarding.
Services were suspended affecting all stops between Altrincham and Cornbrook after the overhead line was damaged by ‘a third party’.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Bee Network said: “The overhead line issue has now been resolved with services operating on the Altrincham line.
“Ticket acceptance will be in place until 8pm. Thank you all for your patience.”
