A one-year-old child was taken to hospital after a medical episode in Stretford.
A police patrol was alerted to the medical episode on Ponsonby Road on Sunday.
According to Greater Manchester Police (GMP) they were asked to stop by a member of the public and stepped in to provide CPR at the scene at around 4.50am.
A one-year-old child was taken to hospital. There are no suspicious circumstances.
A GMP spokesperson said: "At around 4.50am on Sunday, one of our patrol vehicles was alerted to a child suffering a medical episode while on Ponsonby Road.
"Our officers provided CPR at the scene on a one-year-old child who remains in hospital. Enquiries suggest there are no suspicious circumstances."
