A Sale pub is set to shut this weekend ahead of reopening with a new look and a new name.
The Moorfield, on Marsland Road, is set to shut from today, Sunday, for more than a month.
At the moment it is run by Greene King under the umbrella of the Hungry Horse brand but it is to be brought back under the umbrella of the brewery's own brand.
On July 12, after a six-figure investment into the Grade-II listed site, it will have a new look and a new name – The Sale – in a nod to its history as The Sale Hotel.

Its general manager Chris Hughes said: "The team is so excited for The Moorfield to undertake this overhaul and we cannot wait to reopen in time for the summer.
"We will remain a local community pub and we cannot wait to welcome guests, both old and new, back to check out our offering."
