Artwork produced by students at Trafford College is currently being showcased around Altrincham as part of an exhibition.
Altrincham BID, the organisation behind VisitAltrincham.com, has partnered with Trafford College to showcase the artwork of its students throughout the town.
The exhibition started on Thursday, June 13, and is running until Thursday, June 27.
It sees a diverse collection of student art being displayed in the windows of various businesses and shops in Altrincham.
Each art piece is accompanied by information and a QR code, providing visitors with further details and access to an online digital gallery hosted on Trafford College’s website.
As part of the exhibition, Altrincham BID has created a map which shows the locations of the displayed artwork.
Jane Andrew, Head of Art and Design at Trafford College, said: "We’re delighted to collaborate with Altrincham BID and the town’s businesses again this year, continuing a project that started during the Covid pandemic when physical exhibitions were not possible. We deeply appreciate the support from Altrincham’s businesses.
"By visiting the college’s town-wide art show, you'll experience the exceptional quality of work produced by our students this year. The displayed pieces showcase the creativity and ambition fostered in our art courses, and we are extremely proud of our students’ bold and innovative efforts."
Mandy White, director of Altrincham BID, said: “It’s always a pleasure to work with Trafford College and local businesses on this initiative.
"We encourage everyone to explore the artwork, and we are confident the event will receive strong support from the community, visitors, and the students’ families and friends.
"The college is a vital part of our town, and it’s wonderful to celebrate the talent it cultivates. We extend our special thanks to the businesses participating by hosting these art pieces."
