Two Altrincham nurseries are among the Top 20 settings across the North West of England according to the parents who use them.
The daynurseries.co.uk Top 20 Nursery Awards 2024 reward the top settings in each region according to the ratings on its website.
On Monday, the ratings website revealed two Altrincham nurseries, Banana Moon Day Nursery and Elmscot Day Nursery, are among the Top 20 settings out of the hundreds across the North West of England.
All ratings are based on a range of factors from the activities and the education to the facilities and the food as well as value for money.
Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager at daynurseries.co.uk, said: "We would like to congratulate Banana Moon Day Nursery and Elmscot Day Nursery on being rated by parents and by carers as a top nursery in the North West of England.
"Our award is recognition from parents and from carers that this nursery is offering their children an excellent standard of care, in a stimulating environment, which will help to boost their development and to create a lifelong love of learning."
Kirsty Price, from Banana Moon Day Nursery, on Barrington Road, said: "We are proud to be awarded the Top 20 Nursery Award for the North West.
"This award shows how hard we have worked to improve our setting over the last year. We have taken our setting from 'requires improvement' to 'good'.
"We have had beautiful feedback about the nursery and the positive changes over the last 14 months.
"This award is the icing on the cake for all of us at Banana Moon Day Nursery and we want to thank our families for all the support they have given us."
Chelsea Thomas, from Elmscot Day Nursery, on Stockport Road, said: "We are overjoyed to be awarded the Top 20 Nursery Award for the North West by Day Nurseries from all the reviews from our families.
"We will continue to provide the best we can for all our families and we cannot thank everyone enough for taking the time to write the reviews which mean so much. Every single one is read and shared and the feedback for the team is invaluable."
