A family-friendly festival is to return to the area for another edition after the success of its first edition last weekend.
The Brit Fest aimed to celebrate "The Best of British" when it arrived at Ashley Hall for three days starting on July 5.
Organised by brothers Anthony Prophet and Edward Prophet, who are the owners of The Bowdon Rooms, it was a family-friendly festival with an all-star line-up including a number of favourites from across the decades.
The headliners on the main stage, hosted by the Hits Radio stars Jenny Powell and Mike Toolan, were Bonnie Tyler, Heather Small and Scouting for Girls, while other highlights were Kim Wilde, Fleur East and The Feeling.
The line-up was in addition to other activities and attractions including the fun fair and the food and drink village, all of which were enjoyed by around 15,000 festivalgoers.
Anthony Prophet said: "It was an absolutely brilliant festival weekend, with a fantastic atmosphere in the showground, and we were struck by the sense of community among the crowds enjoying themselves across the site.
"A celebration like The Brit Fest – bringing a festival to our community and creating lifelong memories – is something we've wanted to do for a long time and we were proud to be able to offer such a strong programme.
"It is also a great base from which to plan our future festivals.
"I am pleased to announce The Brit Fest will return in 2025."
The festival was sponsored by Myerson Solicitors, the Top 200 UK law firm with a base at Altrincham's Grosvenor House, Barrington Road.
The Brit Fest's other partners were Ashley Hall, ABC+ Warranty, Camden Town Brewery, Delta Hotels, Go Goodwins, LWC and Marlish.
