Travellers are in with a shot at some top travel-themed prizes in return for their stunning snaps of the Mid Cheshire Line.
The Through the Train Window competition launches on Monday (July 22) and it lasts throughout the summer holidays.
There are three age categories for photos from younger children, older children, and over-18s and the one rule is the photos are to be taken through a train window somewhere on the Mid Cheshire Line. This is the railway line between Manchester and Chester which takes in train stations such as Altrincham, Hale, Knutsford, Northwich and many, many more.
The judge is John Horsley of Knutsford Photography Society.
Sarah Muir, of the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership, said: "We have great prizes for each age category – two return tickets for anywhere on the West Coast Main Line, two return tickets for anywhere in the Northern Rail network and a voucher for four at Go Ape in Delamere Forest, and tickets to Planet Ice.
"We are grateful to John Horsley for giving up his time to judge."
