A man who headbutted, racially abused and spat at police officers in Trafford has been sentenced.
Perri Marshall appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court on June 24 having previously pleaded guilty to two counts of common assault of an emergency worker, one count of racially aggravated intentional harassment and one count of criminal damage.
On April 20, in Trafford, Marshall spat at one police officer, headbutted another and racially abused a third.
When the 24-year-old was detained and loaded into a police van, he spat inside the van.

Marshall, of Poppy Street, Partington, was handed an 18-month community order, which includes undergoing a period of alcohol treatment for nine months.
He was also ordered to attend 30 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and to pay £100 in compensation to one of the officers he assaulted.
