A search is under way for a woman believed to be in her 30s after a dog attack in Sale left a woman with "life-changing injuries".
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have said that the serious incident happened at around 5.40pm on Tuesday, July 16, on Baguley Lane.
The 49-year-old victim sustained what police have described as "life-changing injuries" following the attack by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier/boxer cross with blonde fur.
GMP are looking for a woman believed to be in her 30s who was wearing a peach-coloured shirt at the time.

The attack occurred on the Tuesday 16 July, at approximately 5:40pm on Baguley Lane.

Police are urging any any witnesses who may have seen the incident to come forward.
