Two care homes in Trafford are celebrating the success of their staff with awards.
Both Four Oaks and Timperley care homes have won the coveted prizes.
Richard Jones, hospitality manager at Four Oaks Care Home in Partington, clinched the Rising Star Award at Kingsley’s Regional Care Awards for the North West and Midlands.
He was praised for making a notable difference to the presentation of the home, with co-workers noting his hotel background helped him hit the ground running.
In Timperley, Adrienne Winder, a domestic assistant, earned the Care Home Support Services Champion award.
Colleagues lauded her for being "very thorough," adding: "She gets cracking as soon as she enters the building and everyone instantly notices the gleaming difference!
"She uses her initiative and will do any job she is asked to do."
Four Oaks' Anna Bratyszewska was an awards runner-up in the Care Home Business Support Champion category.
At Timperley, three staffers - administrator Babina Abraham, Iwona Pawelczyk, and Modesta Takaedza also bagged nominations in their respective roles.
The awards were part of a significant milestone, the UK Top 20 Large Care Home Group’s 25th anniversary celebrations, hosted at Dunham Forest Golf and Country Club.
Kingsley CEO and founder, Daya Thayan, said: "To all my colleagues who are here, this day means so much to us.
"We are a family business, and you are part of this family.
"Every time we visit, we witness the outstanding work you do as a team, always with a smile.
"We can have the fanciest buildings, but they alone don't make a great care home – it is your dedication that truly matters."
Co-chief operating officer, Sumi Thayan, added: "Congratulations to everyone here who has been nominated.
"You are all winners.
"Let's also extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone working diligently in our homes on shifts; our strength lies in our unity as a team.”
