Sale Sharks Rugby Club has secured a four-year sponsorship deal with Carrier Solutions UK, beginning next season.

The agreement will see Toshiba, an air conditioning brand, take centre stage on the Sharks' shirts from the 2024/25 season.

The arrangement extends Carrier's role as 'principal partner' of the rugby club from its previous position that saw branding featured on the East Stand and the shoulder of last season's shirts.

Toshiba, as part of Carrier Solutions UK, is linked to Carrier Global Corporation, a renowned firm in climate and energy solutions.

Carrier's branding will also feature on fly-half George Ford's match kit, as Carrier is the official player sponsor for Sale Sharks' England international.

David Dunn, sales director for Northern Europe at Carrier RLC EMEA, said: "We are thrilled to elevate our partnership with Sale Sharks to a new level.

"Our brands are a natural fit – they share close quarters with our sales and technical support in Stockport and champion our core company values of inclusion, respect and excellence."

The partnership signifies an important engagement with the sport and the community.

Sale Sharks' chief executive, Paul Smith, believes the partnership will be mutually beneficial.

He said: "This is a really exciting deal for the club and I’m confident that together we can drive both businesses forward in the coming years.

"Everyone at the club is looking forward to working with them for the next four years."

The alliance sees the club play a proactive role in selecting sponsors aligned with their values based on respect, inclusion, and excellence.

The new Sale Sharks' kits, featuring the Toshiba logo, will be revealed ahead of the 2024/25 Gallagher Premiership season.
