A man was brought before the court charged with manufacturing MDMA amid an investigation at two scenes.
These two scenes are on Bennett Street in Stretford, Trafford, and on Hobson Street in Failsworth, Oldham.
A National Crime Agency spokesperson said a man was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and, on Saturday, he was brought before Manchester Magistrates Court charged with manufacturing MDMA as well as possession with intent to supply a Class A drug (MDMA) and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis).
Stuart James, 44, of Sale, Trafford, is in custody for an appearance at Manchester Crown Court next month.
The scene on Bennett Street was no longer in place at the start of the weekend but the scene on Hobson Street was in place through the weekend.
The National Crime Agency spokesperson said: "Members of the public might see officers in protective suits.
"This is standard procedure and we do not believe there is any risk to the public."
