One person was rescued from their car after a two-car crash at a crossroads outside Altrincham town centre.
The two-car crash was at the crossroads of Barrington Road and Woodlands Road before midday on Monday.
All of the emergency services were in attendance and a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said one person was rescued from their car by firefighters from Sale Fire Station and Stretford Fire Station as well as Ashton-under-Lyne.
A number of photos on social media showed a car against a wall which is next to Altrincham Methodist Church.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "After 11.30am today fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Woodlands Road.
"Two fire engines from Sale and Stretford, with the Enhanced Rescue Unit from Ashton-Under-Lyne, attended the incident which involved two vehicles.
"Crews used specialist equipment to extricate one person from a vehicle before being treated by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service. Crews worked to make the area safe before departing after approximately 45 minutes at the scene."
