A new beauty retailer has opened its first concept store.
Lookfantastic, an 'online pure-play' beauty retailer, has opened its first-ever permanent concept store in Altrincham's Stamford Quarter.
The retailer wants to bring the 'online beauty world to life' with its new store, which is designed to educate customers about brands and products through real-life experiences.
The store features a range of services including a beauty bar, community events, a recycling station, and a spotlight stage for pop-ups.
It also offers access to advice from industry insiders and multi-brand specialists.
The store is home to more than 90 beauty brands, including exclusives such as dermatologist-founded brand Dr Loretta.
James Tootle, head of retail and leisure at Bruntwood, said: "The opening of Lookfantastic marks a new milestone for the Stamford Quarter.
"Welcoming the brand’s first ‘In Real Life’ store showcases just how popular the area has become and it further strengthens the fantastic retail offering we have here.
"The opening will bolster what is an ever-growing community of great brands here at the Stamford Quarter as the high street continues to thrive."
Lucy Gorman, CEO of THG Beauty, said: "We’re excited to bring the Lookfantastic experience to life with our concept store, offering our loyal community incredible exclusives they won’t be able to find anywhere else.
"This innovative retail space goes beyond products, offering a unique and immersive beauty destination.
"It perfectly complements our omnichannel strategy, bridging the gap between our established online community and the success of our pop-up events.
"Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re delighted customers will be able to discover and purchase while also enjoying beauty services, bringing digital beauty into the third dimension for our loyal, local customer base in a new way."
The store opened on September 27, with the first 100 customers receiving a limited edition gift bag valued at £300.
