A number of the borough's boozers are among the best boozers in the region for real ale according to the The Campaign for Real Ale's Good Beer Guide.
Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, Urmston and their surroundings are all on a list of around 150 pubs in Greater Manchester and around 4,500 pubs in the UK.
The Old Roebuck, in Altrincham, and The Railway, in Sale, are new entries to this year's Good Beer Guide while the others are old entries from last year's Good Beer Guide. The Beacon, formerly Pi, in Altrincham, is under a new name and a new ownership.

Kev Muldoon, the manager of The J P Joule, said: "I am delighted The J P Joule is receiving recognition for the quality of its real ales.
"We have a range of real ales at all times including from regional brewers and microbrewers as well as hosting our own beer festivals."
The Good Beer Guide comes in two covers with The Rovers Return, from Corrie, and The Woolpack, from Emmerdale. Its introduction is by ITV Executive Producer for Continuing Drama Iain Macleod.
Ash Corbett-Collins, CAMRA's chairman, said: "The Rovers Return and The Woolpack represent the UK's love of their local and to have them on the covers for this year's Good Beer Guide is exciting."
