Travellers received some top travel-themed prizes in return for their stunning snaps of the Mid Cheshire Line.
The Through the Train Window competition was between July 22 and September 20 with a result this week.
There were three age categories for photos from younger children, older children, and over 18s and the one rule was the photos were to be taken through a train window somewhere on the Mid Cheshire Line.
This is the railway line from Manchester to Chester which takes in railways stations like Altrincham, Hale, Knutsford and Northwich.
The winner in these three age categories were Leighton O'Rourke (under 12s) who received four free tickets to Delamere Forest's Go Ape, Amelia Hampshire (12 to 18s) who received four free tickets to Altrincham's Planet Ice and Lena Bankevych (over 18s) who received two free tickets to travel anywhere at all along the West Coast Main Line.
Judge John Horsley, of Knutsford Photographic Society, said: "The entries were outstanding so choosing the winners was a difficult decision.
"Congratulations to all the winners and all the other competitors."
The Through the Train Window competition is to return next year.
