The M60 motorway was closed clockwise for a short time after a "police incident".

The "police incident" was around J18 (Simister Island) at around 10am on Sunday.

National Highways' cameras showed the M60 motorway was closed clockwise for a short time. The cameras showed there were two vehicles in the centre of the clockwise carriageway, one of which was a police car, with a number of other vehicles behind them on the clockwise carriageway.

The carriageway was cleared around J18 (Simister Island) at around 10.30am.
