A man in his twenties has been arrested following a suspected assault in Urmston which left another man in hospital with facial injuries.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said they were called to reports of an assault on Flixton Road just before 1am this morning (Sunday, October 20).
A man, 47, was said to have suffered facial injuries and he was taken to hospital, although his injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
Now, a 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm.

A spokesperson for GMP said: "Officers were called to reports of an assault on Flixton Road in Urmston at around 12:55am this morning (Sunday 20 October).
"A 47-year-old male victim suffered facial injuries which are not life-changing or life-threatening. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
"A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody."
