Urgent engineering works will shut down trams on the Deansgate-Castlefield route.
The works, scheduled for Sunday, October 27, aim to repair a track fault.
As a result, no trams will operate via Deansgate-Castlefield for the duration of service on Sunday, and service changes will be in place across the network.
Trams will operate via Bury-Ashton, Victoria-Etihad, Rochdale-Exchange Square, Airport-Firswood and East Didsbury-Deansgate-Castlefield.
Further service changes include Altrincham-Deansgate-Castlefield, Trafford Centre-Cornbrook, and Eccles-Cornbrook routes.
A bus replacement service will operate between Piccadilly and Cornbrook, and Victoria and Chorlton.
These services will run every eight minutes in a bid to assist passengers.
For further information on the closure and how it may affect travel plans, Transport for Greater Manchester has encouraged passengers to visit their dedicated webpage.
