A stretch of the tram on the line running through Trafford was out of service following a "medical emergency" today (Wednesday, November 6).
The incident took place on a tram near to the Brooklands stop in Sale.
No services ran between Altrincham and Old Trafford for a period this morning following the incident, causing disruption.
However, within less than 30 minutes of Bee Network announcing the disruption, services resumed.

A spokesperson for Transport for Greater Manchester said: “At 10.55am, we received reports of a medical emergency on board a tram near to the Brooklands tram stop on Altrincham line.
“Temporary service changes were put in place while Metrolink staff waited for the emergency services to arrive.
“Service has now resumed between Old Trafford and Altrincham.”
