Passengers are being warned of delays on the trams after a fault on the line.
The "tram fault" was at the Stretford stop, which is on the Bury to Altrincham line.
Bee Network says the delay is on services heading towards Altrincham.
Ticket acceptance is in place on buses for tram passengers, including on: 18, 19, 245, 263, 281, 285 and 286.

A Bee Network spokesperson said: "Due to an earlier tram fault at Stretford, trams are experiencing delays on the Altrincham line.
"There is ticket acceptance in place on the following bus services: 18, 19, 245, 263, 281, 285 and 286."
The issue was first reported just after 4pm and will continue to be an issue "until further notice".
