A care home is inviting the community to a festive Christmas fair.
Care UK's Oakfield Croft on Oakfield in Sale will host the event on Friday, December 6, from 1pm to 6pm.
The fair will feature stalls selling handmade gifts, decorations, beauty products, art and treats from businesses.
Residents will also have their own tombola stall.
Visitors can enjoy festive music from a choir and an owl experience from Owl Adventures, which includes demonstrations and the chance to handle the animals.
There will also be a variety of tasty treats available, including mince pies, hot chocolate, and mulled wine.
Daniel Cole, home manager at Oakfield Croft, said: "Here at Oakfield Croft, we’re already getting our Christmas jumpers on and counting down until the big day – which is why we’re excited to be kicking off the festivities with our very own Christmas market.
"We strive to play an active role in our community, and we’re delighted to be opening the doors to our neighbours to enjoy the festivities together.
"The residents are busy preparing their stall and the event is a wonderful opportunity for them to reminisce over Christmas memories, share stories and meet new people.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for what we expect will be a lovely day for all – I can hear the jingle bells already."
Oakfield Croft has been rated "good" in all five areas by the Care Quality Commission and was named a top 20 care home for the second year in a row.
The home is designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilling lives, while also promoting independence.
The care home incorporates space for hobbies and leisure activities.
