The Trafford Centre revealed the prices of its premium parking ahead of its introduction for the first time next week.

The shopping centre received planning permission for the changes to one of its car parks from the council this year.

The affected area is at the top of the Peel 5 car park, next to the Peel Circle roundabout, and it has bigger bays which are three metres wide instead of two and a half metres wide as well as other additions including car cleaning and EV charging. It is next to Selfridges with the aim of appealing to the shoppers at the designer department store of which there are only four stores across the UK.

Its prices are between a few pounds and more than £20 depending on duration and whether it is a weekday or a weekend and this is payable in advance or on the day.

There is no impact on other parking which is free for any duration on weekdays and on weekends with a total of around 11,500 spaces all around the Trafford Centre.
