DISCOVER the Antiques, Bric-a-brac and Collectables Day at Altrincham’s Historic Market.
Every Thursday you will find lots of stalls decked out with all sorts of interesting items, ranging from pottery, porcelain, glassware, tools, militaria, stamps, coins, small furniture, jewellery and much more.
The famous names are here – Royal Doulton, Moorcroft, Beswick - and others whose work you will have seen mentioned and discussed in the TV antiques programmes.
Bric-a-brac can be bought at competitive prices and, for the serious collector, antiques date back to the Victorian era and later. Maybe you like 60s glassware or Royal Doulton figures, postcards from a bygone age or maybe a water colour painting? There are woodworking tools, garden tools – the list is endless.
Come along and see for yourselves all these interesting items for sale. Come for a chat and an opinion; maybe we can help you to find something that you are looking for. There are lots of ideas here for Christmas presents.
We are ‘up and running’ in the market from 8.30 in the morning to mid afternoon, and we will be delighted to see you!
On the first Friday of every month, the Farmer’s Market is here with morning fresh farm foods together with other producers, providing a very wide range of home products, locally grown, traceable food.
Come and talk to the farmers and producers, buy all these nutritious products at very competitive prices and at the same time, you will be supporting your local community. There are no air miles here!
So - do make a diary note of the first Friday of the month - Farmer’s day - in Altrincham’s historic market. Many of our products go right the back to the origins of our market in the 13th century!
We are open at 8.30 in the morning to supply you with lots of fresh, local produce. Come and shop and enjoy.
Our opening times over the festive period will be: Antiques and Bric-a-brac every Thursday; Saturday, December 20, open as usual; Tuesday December 23, open as usual; Christmas Eve (Wednesday, December 24); Christmas Day and Boxing Day, closed; Saturday, December 27, re-opens
