M & M Plant of Altrincham is an independent jewellers, specialising in quality antique, vintage, and modern jewellery.

We carry comprehensive ranges, but we are always able to find, or make, jewellery to your requirements.

Monika and Michael Plant jointly run the business, founded in 1987 and based on traditional values and service.

Michael, with 45 years in the jewellery trade, worked initially with the Garrard/Mappin & Webb organisations, and has a thorough knowledge in all aspects of the quality jewellery trade, specialising in valuations of jewellery for insurance, probate, etc. All valuations are executed ‘in-house’, and not out-sourced. In other words, we don’t send your precious items away!

Monika, involved with jewellery for more than 20 years, is a qualified gemmologist and Diamond Fellow of the Gemmological Association.

Much of our stock is sourced from the UK, thereby increasing the quality of the product sold at the shop.

We’ve also taken on a range of fine quality diamond solitaire rings that have platinum heads and 18ct white gold shanks; this gives extra security for the stone, but reduces the overall cost of the ring.

Normally open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am, there will be extra hours and days up to Christmas from early December.
