THE family of a young woman from Flixton who died last year is holding a second fundraising party in memory of her.
Lis Lampard died last June at the age of 23, four weeks after being diagnosed with skin cancer.
A party held in October as a tribute to Lis and to raise funds for charity was a massive success - raking in more than £6,200 for Christie's and Trafford's Macmillan Centre.
Now Lis's sister, Vicki Lampard, is putting together another charity bash.
Vicki said: "All the funds raised will be donated to charities that deal with such life threatening and terribly distressing illnesses.
"I hope we can raise the same amount as last year - or even more.
"Lis is still desperately missed by her family and friends and we aim to show our appreciation for her life and the impact she made on people who were fortunate enough to meet her."
The party will be held from 7.30pm on Saturday, November 9 at Urmston Leisure Centre, Bowfell Road, Flixton. The event will feature music form Nice2Bnice, DJ Paul Chapman, raffles, auctions, live music, karaoke, sponsored head shaves and chest waxes.
Tickets are £5, with children under 16 admitted free. For further information call Vicki on 07941 426 038 - tickets can also be bought at the door on the night.
