MR Leslie Spilsbury, a resident of Bowdon Vale, died peacefully in his sleep on September 10.
He was 95.
Leslie was born in 1907 and lived all his life in Bowdon Vale, surrounded by family and friends.
He married his wife Lillian in 1941 and they spent a very happy 45 years together before her death.
They enjoyed many weekends in Abergele and holidays down south.
Leslie was an expert gardener and he spent many years as head gardener at Radbroke Hall.
He also kept his own large garden stocked with a variety of fruit and vegetables.
Leslie was a keen footballer, snooker player and card player.
