STRETFORD and Urmston MP Beverley Hughes went out on the beat with community beat officers from Stretford police this week.
She saw saw how local bobbies deal with youth related annoyance and vandalism as well as other target crime areas for the local police.
Beverley Hughes MP told SUM: "I am grateful to Superintendent Ryder and WPC Jackson for arranging for me to come out on patrol and witness their job at first hand.
"As a local MP - and Home Office minister - I want to see the kind of things the police deal with in my patch as well as show my support for the difficult job our local police officers do."
