A BUSINESSMAN from Sale will test himself both physically and mentally to complete the challenge of a lifetime, by trekking through the rainforests of Borneo to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
David Offland, aged 36, got involved in the trip because he fancied a challenge and wanted to do something positive to help the BHF. He has already started training and is confident he will be in good shape for the trek in just a few months.
David said: "I really fancied doing something different this year, and although I'm quite nervous, I'm really looking forward to it. I've already climbed Mount Snowdon a couple of times in preparation so am hoping this will put me in good stead! Thanks to the generosity of many of my business contacts I have already raised over £3000 for the BHF."
