ALTRINCHAM Kersal have secured the services of Wayne Morris as player coach.
Wayne began his premiership career back home in Wales, at Aberavon.
Playing at scrum half, he obtained representative honours - for the Wales U19s, the U21s, which he also captained and was a member of the Welsh A squad.
From Aberavon he went on to Pontypool to become, at 21, the youngest ever captain in the Welsh Premiership.
He then moved to Bridgend from where he came north to join Waterloo before moving across to Manchester.
The other half of the coaching team for 2002-3 will by Chris Nettleton.
Chris turned to coaching after retiring from playing for Kersal's senior sides and was part of the team responsible for the continued success of the club's Colts Fifteens over the past seasons.
He also coached the Altrincham Kersal Women's team, who gained second place in their league last season.
Wayne and Chris have been building up the pre-season training towards the opening games of the season in the Cheshire Cup on August 31, and the first North 2 league game at Broughton Park on September 7th.
