ANOTHER outstanding performance from an under strength Kersal U16s saw them draw 5-5 with potential Welsh champions Wrexham.
The first half was an entertaining game spoilt a little by inferior refereeing, but Kersal managed a score from a scrum.
Dixon and Mooney linked up with Appleton and Cornelious to pass to Castle who hopped over three tackles to score in the corner after 20 minutes.
A fine defensive display from Betts, Banks, Ravenscroft and Cornthwaite ensured a half time score 0-5.
The second half started with Harris, Stevenson, Rowbotham and Clayton-Smith excelling in the mauls.
But with aggressive Wrexham being allowed to bend the laws they eventually scored a deserved try against a 14-man Kersal for a hard earned draw.
Another fine team performance.
A special mention to Roberts, Jones and Bates for their contribution.
