IN response to Mrs Jefferson's letter about Sale baths, I am in total agreement with her. The changing facilities are disgusting.
I haven't been swimming at Sale baths for years, not since my teens, and I couldn't believe the state of the changing rooms. I remember the two ladies who then attended them, opening your lockers and keeping the place clean by hosing and brushing down the floors. You don't see anyone now.
All the lockers have gone and it's open plan. The tiles are dirty and the smell is awful. You would think that Trafford would put more of an effort in to keep people coming to use their pool, as there is so much competition around for private health clubs, which I think is a shame because the pool is a good one.
