Urmston Meadowside U16sA maintained their 100% unbeaten run in the league by beating a strong Fletcher Moss side 3-1 at the weekend.
Despite having the best chances, Meds were one goal down at the break.
Meds rallied well in the second half and Matthew Whitby gave himself a perfect birthday present by scoring 2 great goals, with skipper Steve McShane sealing the victory with the third.
Meds U16sB were frustrated by Salmo who clinched a point with a late equaliser against the run of play in the 1-1 draw.
Russell McKay followed up his hat-trick the previous week with another good goal for Meds.
