SALE Sharks aim to do the double over their closest group rivals Connacht at Heywood Road tomorrow.
Sharks are top of group four with three wins out of three, and a victory over the Irish province would more or less assure Jim Mallinder's men of a quarter final place for the first time in their history.
Connacht are second in the group - where only one side makes the cut - and will take heart from their opponents' narrow 33-30 win last weekend.
Sale boss Jim Mallinder has named the following side for the match
Vaughan Going, Mark Cueto, Martin Shaw, Mel Deane, Anthony Elliott, Charlie Hodgson, Jim Bramhall, Stuart Turner, Andy Titterrell, Adam Black, Iain Fullerton, Mark Giacheri, Apollo Perelini, Richard Wilks, Alex Sanderson.
Replacements: Alan Dickens, Steve Hanley, Steve Davidson, Scott lines, Pete Anglesea, Kevin Yates, Bernie Jackman.
l Charlie Hodgson has been selected for the 26-man England squad to play Australia in the Investec Challenge Saturday November 10th at Twickenham.
He joins Heywood Road counterpart Jason Robinson in the extended squad, which will be cut to 22 four days before the game.
Rugby league convert Henry Paul also earns his first England call-up, as does Steve Thompson, the Northampton hooker.
England coach Clive Woodward said, "I have made a number of changes to the squad that went to Ireland.
"There are three new additions to the squad. Henry Paul is included in the 26 man squad but I do not expect him to start any of the Investec Challenge matches.
"His involvement is part of a learning process similar to that experienced by Jason Robinson last year."
Woodward added, "Steve Thompson has also been included after excellent performances over a number of weekends along with Charlie Hodgson who has had a tremendous start to the season with Sale Sharks."
