SALE Sharks' new managing director Carl Fox has only been in the job for three weeks, but "it feels like a lot longer."
SAM sport caught up with Sale-born Carl last week to talk about his plans for the club.
"It's been a hectic while for me, and I'm loving every minute of it," he said.
"My main role here is to make sure everyone works together to reach their full potential, right across the board.
"The owners, Brian Kennedy and Ian Blackhurst have their ambitious plan to make Sale Sharks the Manchester United of rugby Union, and I fully subscribe to that.
"Already, we have erected temporary seating at the far end of the pitch, and we are using that as a kind of 'community stand' with schoolkids, junior rugby clubs and charities filling it on match days.
"This is very much in keeping with Sale's major plan to link up with the local community, and re-establish the connections to local junior rugby clubs."
l Sale face Connacht in their final Parker Pen European Shield match on Saturday, and a win will see Sale take their place in the quarter final draw.
The Heywood Road men are in a commanding position at the top of pool four after a narrow 33-30 win over the Irish province last weekend.
