MRS Sue Bates (President) welcomed members after the summer break.
The garden party had been a great success (helped by the weather) thanks were expressed to Joy and David Cooper for the use of their beautiful garden.
The trip to Highgrove by kind permission of HRH The Prince of Wales had been fantastic.
The gardens were fabulous and members were able to buy Highgrove produce and plants. A very memorable day.
Members were reminded about the 81st birthday party - a meal at The Swan with Two Nicks and also the group quiz.
Mrs Jo Allen has volunteered to be the delegate at the half yearly meeting at Winsford.
The guest speaker Mr Anstree brought a mouth watering array of cheeses and pates and told about his career as a grocer.
Members were able to sample his cheeses after his talk.
He was thanked by Mrs Angela Terrill.
The competition - a china dish was won by Mrs Anne Blackburn, Mrs Noel Pickton, Mrs Rachel Cookson.
