THE Chairman, Mrs S Warburton opened the October meeting and welcomed three new Guild members.
Minutes of the last meeting were approved.
Members are making Christmas Gift Boxes for the third world.
Arts and Crafts will be taking part in a Commonwealth Exhibition in 2002.
Some members of the Music and Drama will be attending a Joan and Burns Day this month.
Plans are in the pipeline for an event to commemorate the Queen's Golden Jubilee next year.
The speaker for the evening was Mrs E Gorton who gave an excellent talk and slides on Tatton Hall and the Egerton family, all members enjoyed this very informative subject.
The evening cake stall was a great success.
The Guild meets the first Thursday of the month at 7.30pm at the church hall, Taylor Road, Oldfield Brow.
