Apparently nobody at the club can be bothered to send in match reports, results, or even fixture details.
The club, relegated from the Unibond League, is now bottom of the North West Counties League Division One.
It will probably soon be in Division Two, a fate that does not bear thinking about.
I watched the 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Winsford.
The previous Tuesday, Flixton were beaten 2-1 at fellow strugglers Cong-leton. If local foot-ball fans don't rally in support of Flixton, the abysmal gates could lead to closure of this excel-lent ground, which has a big seated stand and a fabulous social club.
This Saturday (Octo-ber 13) Flixton are at at home to Fleetwood Freeport in the League. The ground is at Valley Road, off Woodsend Circle. Admission is £3.
