URMSTON Meadowside U16sA maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-2 victory at Manchester Juniors.
Despite the score line, Meds dominated the game and could easily have doubled their goal tally.
Meds scorers were Robert Harvey, Matthew Whitby and Lee Hamblett.
Meds U16sB came from behind three times to draw 3-3 in an entertaining derby match with Urmston Town.
Man of the Match Andy Sutton scored twice and Russell McKay grabbed the other goal.
Meds now have two teams in the first division of the U10s league and they faced each other at the weekend.
In a thrilling game Meds Pumas went two up through Michael Thorley and Thomas Quayle but the Meds Lions roared back with goals from Greg Gyves and Alex Rex to make the final score 2-2.
In the other league, a goal from Carl Tanner gave Meds Tigers a 1-1 draw with Sale United.
