A SIXTY-four year old man suffered slight effects of smoke inhalation when a fire broke out in the kitchen of a semi detached house on Kingsley Avenue, Stretford.
He was given oxygen therapy by firefighters and taken to Trafford General Hospital. He was later discharged.
Half of the kitchen was wrecked by the blaze, which was caused when a pan was left unat-tended on an electric cooker. Firef-ighters put it out after being cal-led out at 3.30pm last Thursday.
