It seems that Urmston has again been honoured by the presence of the local vagabond (or what some might call a tramp).
He seems to be a pleasant enough guy when sober and indeed, the police who were re-quested on more than one occassion to move him on, got on with him so well that they left him alone in his squalor.
This is okay until he inev-itably gets drunk and very abusive, espe-cially with shop staff who refuse him drink.
During the summer months, he lay in his own vomit and excretia looking near to death for some time before disap-pearing - that is until now! Does anyone know who he is and why he will not accept any offer of help and accommod-ation that has appar-ently been given by the social services?
I have also been in-formed of his claim that he is dying and wishes his last days to be in his original home town of Urmston. I do not wish the guy any harm and as such would ask people not give him money to buy drink nor to pur-chase drink for him though maybe direct offers of food would be helpful.
