PUPILS at Urmston Grammar School may soon have more space to enjoy their daily school dinners.
For plans are in place to build an extension at the Newton Road site to provide a new dining room if consent is passed by planning chiefs.
The proposal is amongst the latest batch of applications lodged with Trafford Borough Council - details of which are now available for inspection during normal office hours at Trafford Direct 2000 at Sale Town Hall, Tatton Road, Sale.

Trafford Park: Display of three non-illuminated signs on building together with two 5 metre flagpoles and two 6 metre flagpoles to Ashburton Road frontage at Unit 2, Pisces, Mosley Road (H/ADV/50177); display of various non-illuminated and illuminated signs, displays and flags on the front and side elevation of building and a non-illuminated freestanding sign on the frontage at Unit 4, Circle South, Trafford Park Road (H/ADV/50179).
Urmston: Single-storey extension to provide a new dining room at Urmston Grammar School, Newton Road (H50174); display of 4x48 sheet advertisement hoardings with associated fencing at Containerbase, Barton Dock Road (H/ADV/50176).
Warburton: Change of use and conversion of existing barn to dwelling with erection of car port and formation of new vehicular access to Paddock Lane at Paddock Lane Farm, Paddock Lane (H50163).
