I WOULD like to register disgust at the behaviour of some of our elected representativies at a Trafford planning committee meeting earlier this month.

A planning application was granted despite overwhelming evidence that it would greatly increase danger at a notorious accident black spot.

It was obvious from the start of the meeting that the members of the committee take no notice of the opinions being voiced by the public. They seem to make their minds up long before the meeting.

We have been told that when a person is killed, due to the granting of this planning application, that it will be nothing to do with the council!
