TRAFFORD Borough are the best U17s team in Manchester and that's official after their 2-0 win over a spirited Unicorn side in last weeks Manchester County Cup final.
Borough went into the game as favourites and apart from the opening 15 minutes they controlled the game without ever really finding their best form.
The pitch at the County ground was not suited to Traffords style of play but they did produce two excellent pieces of football to score both goals.
First a good build up resulted in James Finnigan hitting a superb goal from 30 yards and then excellent play from Pilling and Finnigan enabled O'Hara to head home the second.
All credit to Unicorn who never gave up, but on the day Trafford proved the stronger side.
Traffords quest to win all four trophies this season is still very much on, but this was the one they really wanted.
Best in the City!
