A FED-up resident claims a litter-strewn alley has been left unattended for years.
But now the passage on Conway Road in Sale Moor is set to be spruced up - thanks to Grotspots.
Pat Harris, of Chinley Close, told the Grotspots campaign that the debris lets the whole area down.
She says: "This alley is a real eyesore - there are crisp packets, food wrappers, tins and beer cans there. I pass it most days and it is a terrible mess.
"I have lived here for 20 years and in all that time it has never been touched."
Geoff Marsh, the council's principal environmental services manager, promised to ensure the alley - close to another entry recently highlighted in Grotspots - was spruced up: "I think this passage is unadopted, but as part of the Grotspots campaign we will have a look at it and sort it out."
Litter problems can be reported to the council on 912 3604 or 912 5924 for the Altrincham area. People can also contact Trafford Direct 2000, which provides information and help on a range of council services, on 912 2000.
