LAST summer I rescued a small grey frog which, in its search for water, had become trapped in the debris of a sunken drain.

I carefully placed it in a shady spot in the garden and decided to make it more comfortable by giving it a shower with the watering can.

To my amazement, the ugly little grey frog was instantly transformed into a beautiful little green frog as the water washed the dust away. This made me think of what God has done for me.

I had got stuck amongst life's 'debris', not being able to escape by my own efforts, and having little idea of how good life could be.

The Bible tells us that Jesus came to bring us abundant life. God rescued me, washed me clean and gave me a new life.

He will do it for you too, if you ask Him.
