DETECTIVES are warning people to be on their guard after a spate of muggings in Old Trafford.
The victims of the street bandits range from pensioners to teenagers.
Det Sgt Phil Wrenn, of Stretford crime management unit, says: "The street robberies situation in Old Trafford is at an unacceptable level.
"People walking about in the Old Trafford area should be on their guard against becoming a victim. There are people who prey on the elderly and any lone and vulnerable people."
The latest robberies include:
A 69 year-old man who was attacked by two teenaged men and a woman.
The cowardly trio pushed him to the ground on Wood Road North, Old Trafford, and stole his £250 watch and keys at about 9.15pm on Tuesday.

A bike riding mugger rode up to a 47 year-old woman on Stanley Road, Old Trafford, and grabbed her handbag. There have been several similar robberies in the last week.
