AN EIGHTEEN year old man received a three inch head wound and severe bruising after being set upon by up to eight attackers last weekend.
It was around 12.45am on Saturday as the victim and his two friends were walking from Stretford Metrolink station along Kingsway when the brutal attack occurred.
The offenders approached the three near to the Arndale centre and after the victim was left on his own they asked for money before pushing him to the ground and repeatedly kicking him when he refused.
The first suspect is a white male aged 16-17 and between five feet nine and five feet ten inches tall with short brown hair and wearing a black top.
A second attacker is also a white male aged in his early teens and between five feet two and five feet three inches tall wearing an orange jacket.
The other offenders are only described as white and in their mid-teens and anyone who may have any information can contact Stretford station on 856-7666
